Lydia Susan Riedle Reca, 72, of Ingleside, IL, passed away June 11, 2020, at JourneyCare Hospice, Glenview, IL. She was born October 1, 1947, in Chicago, IL, to the late Stephen and Heleene (nee Kovalcik) Riedle. On August 30, 1969, in Chicago, Lydia married the love of her life, Kenneth J. Reca. Lydia is survived by her loving family, husband of 50 years, Kenneth; daughter and son-in-law, Marcella M. (David A.) Reca Zipp; brother-in-law, James J. Reca; niece, Noel Riedle; and nephew, Jason Riedle. In addition to her parents, Lydia was preceded in death by her brother, Roger S. Riedle. Services will be private, with a memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Bede Catholic School, 36399 N.
