Lydia B. Hatfield's Obituary

Lydia B. Hatfield, longtime resident of Fox Lake since 1970, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2011. She was born in Key Rock, West Virginia on April 22, 1925 to William "Bill" and Martha (nee Pendry) Cox.


She enjoyed sewing and gardening.


Lydia will be deeply missed by her dear children, Sally (Oma) Webb of McHenry; Amos M. Hatfield, Jr.; Donald E. (Lisa) Hatfield of McHenry; and Malcolm (Cathy) Hatfield of Salem, WI; her grandchildren Leslie (Judy) Webb, Dianna (Jeff) Moore, Scott W. Webb, Lydia (Chris) Yager of Moscow, TN; Bernie Hatfield, David Hatfield, Jeremy (Amanda), Troy, Curtis and Sara Hatfield; and by her great-grandchildren Aria, Dannah, Emma, Hannah, Jordan, Hayden, Alysha and a great-grandchild on the way; her brother Lacy Cox.


Lydia was preceded in death by her dear husband Amos M. Hatfield, Sr.; her son, Thomas Hatfield, her parents, and her 1 sister and her brothers.


Visitation will be held on Monday, Sept. 26, from 9 a.m until the 10 a.m funeral service at K.K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Road in Fox Lake. Interment will be at Willow Lawn Memorial Park, Vernon Hills, IL.
