Luann M. Pigott, a lifetime resident of Johnsburg, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2013 surrounded by her loving family after a courageous 2 year battle with melanoma. She was born on September 21, 1958 in Woodstock to Richard and Marilyn (nee Schmitt) Rudolph.

She was a wonderful wife, mom and friend and enjoyed spending time at home with her family. She was also employed at Johnsburg Jr. High School and was loved by the students.

Luann will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 25 years, Timothy; her dear children, Matthew, Morgan (Chris Korstanje) and Michael Pigott all of Johnsburg; and by her friend Shelly Dehn. She was also like a 2nd mom to Joey Dehn.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her infant brother, James Rudolph.

Memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, Feb. 19, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the K. K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd. Fox Lake. Memorial mass will be Wed., at 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2302 W. Church St., Johnsburg. Inurnment will be in the church cemetery.
