Louise Marie Carter (nee Kay), of St. Petersburg, formerly of Fox Lake, passed away peacefully September 2, 2024, in St. Petersburg.  She was born August 6, 1932, in Chicago, to the late Henry and Lena Firesinger.  Louise was the beloved partner of the late Leanne Saar; loving mother of Joann (Michael) Young and the late John William Carter Jr. (Diane); adoring grandmother of Christine Barbato, Stephen Young, Tia Hastings, Tasha Carter, and John William Carter III; great-grandmother of five; dear sister of Herman (the late Joan) Kay; and aunt of four nieces and nephews.
