Lorraine M. Kehoe
Lorraine M. Kehoe (nee Chalifoux), 85, of Ingleside, peacefully passed away May 04, at JourneyCare, Barrington. She was born April 27, 1938, in Chicago, to the late Maynard and Susan (nee Christof) Chalifoux.
Lorraine was born and raised on the Northwest side of Chicago, and moved to Ingleside in 1986. She spent 18 Winters in Port Charlotte, Florida, and wouldn't let anything keep her from spending time at her home there. A registered nurse, she worked as a labor and delivery nurse at Victory Hospital (now Vista) in Waukegan for many years. In her free time, Lorraine enjoyed golf, Bingo, and going to the "hat store" (a/k/a casino) with her sister, Joan.
Survivors include her loving partner of 28 years, Bob Marx; children, Thomas (Jennifer) Fallucca, Timothy (Paulette) Fallucca, Ronald (Judy) Fallucca, Anne (Guy) Lewis, and James (Denise) Kehoe; stepchildren, Susan (the late Pat) Wilsey, Elizabeth ("Wags") Wagner, and Mary (Rich) Gonka; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; siblings, Margaret "Peggy" (the late Harry) Wykowski, Mary "Joan" (the late Quinn) Miles, and Susan Chalifoux; and by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Lorraine was preceded in death by husband, John E. Kehoe; children, Richard (Kathie) Fallucca and Therese Hallett; and stepson, Johnny Kehoe.
Visitation Tuesday, May 09, from 4 p.m. until the time of wake service at 7:30 p.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals & Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake. Lorraine's funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Wednesday, at Our Lady of the Lakes-St. Bede Church, 36455 N. Wilson Rd., Ingleside. All are invited to go directly to the church. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
