Loren C. Hrbek, 76, of Ingleside, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at home.  He was born September 5, 1945, in El Paso, TX, to the late Frederic and Rose Mary (nee Bell) Hrbek.

Loren served in the Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.  He was a registered nurse for many years.

Survivors include his daughters, Christine Hrbek and Melissa Strickland-Hrbek; grandchildren, Michele Dobson, A.J. Andersen, Ashley Hoyt, Madison Hrbek, Samantha Anderson, William Anderson, John Strickland, Loren Strickland, and Joseph Strickland; great-grandchildren, Gracie, Emily, Nathaniel, Mya, Tyler, and Makian; wife, Caroline Hrbek; siblings, Patricia (Stephen) Lee, William, Marilyn (Ricky), Rosanne, and Fred (Robin); and many, many friends.

In addition to his parents, Loren was preceded in death by son, Loren Hrbek; and siblings, Charlene and Jack.

Visitation Friday, December 10, from 3 p.m. until the time of services at 4:30 p.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals & Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake.  Private inurnment.
