Linda L. Rauen (nee Downing), 69, of McHenry, died suddenly Thursday, May 3, 2018, at St. Catherine Hospital, Pleasant Prairie.  She was born October 1, 1948, in Montrose, CO.

Survivors include her son, Mark (Jenni Heyden) Rauen of McHenry; mother, Isabelle Downing of Grand Junction, CO; boyfriend, David Pepalis of Downers Grove; brother, Danny (Chery) Downing of Silt, CO; nephews and niece, Thomas and Michael Downing of Silt, Thomas Rauen Jr. of Palatine, and Theresa (Peter) Argueta and her daughters, Marianna and Cynthia Argueta, of Porter, IN; sister-in-law, Marilynn Rauen of Palatine; and brother-in-law, Matthias Rauen of Palatine.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph in 1997; father, Howard Downing; brother, David Downing; and brother-in-law, Thomas Rauen, Sr.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 19, from 12 p.m. until the time of service at 4 p.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake.  Burial will be private.
