Lillian R. Kazlausky

Lillian R. Kazlausky, an eighty year resident of Fox Lake, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at the Winchester House Healthcare Center in Libertyville at the age of 99.

Lillian is survived by her dear children, Fritz (Bunny) Kazlausky, Carol Meyer, Richard (Jan) Kazlausky, Sandra (Dave) Kruger and the late Pamela (Michael) Hastings; her cherished grandchildren, Jill, David, the late Lisa, Michael, Lori, Kristine, Scott, Jayne, Jenna, Kelly, Ronald, Jeff, Christopher, Jamie and Ryan along with 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Lillian was preceded in death by her husband Fritz and her brother Richard Vachata.

She was affectionately known as "Grandma Choo Choo" by her grandchildren because of the location of her home on the hill above the Fox Lake railroad station.

After the passing of her husband in 1958, she worked for Grant High School for many years and always credited Mr. Don Callaby for his kindness and friendliness in a difficult time in her life.

A celebration of her life will take place at a later date.
