Leona Hope Taylor

Leona Hope Taylor, a long time resident of Fox Lake, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2014. She was born on August 16, 1947 in Chicago to Harry and Estelle (nee Thompson) Bogseth.

Leona was a dependable, caring, nurturing and loving person, a good friend, loving sister and aunt. Her honesty will be deeply missed. Leona also loved her grandchildren.

Leona will be deeply missed by her loving children, Melanie (Erin Allen) and Arthur (Ann) Gonzalez, both of Antioch and Lisa Ann McCann of Fox Lake; her grandchildren, Cassie Horvath and Emma Allen and her great-granddaughter, Delilah Roberts; and by her siblings, Faith (Neil) Steiert, Patty Bogseth, Carol Knapp, Laura and Larry Bogseth.

She was preceded in death by her dear husband David Taylor, to whom she united in marriage on August 4, 1984; her sister Loretta Arko; her brothers, Harry, Bobby, Donald, Ronald and Gerald Bogseth and by her parents.

Graveside Service to be held 11 a.m., on Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at Grant Cemetery Molidor Road, Ingleside, IL. All are invited to go directly to the cemetery.

Memorial service will be held at National Athletic Club (NAC), 264 Lippincott Rd., Fox Lake, 847-587-5777 on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at 1 PM
