Lawrence W. Leeke, Jr.

Lawrence W. Leeke, Jr., of McHenry, passed away on December 14, 2013. He was born on May 9, 1941 in Chicago to Lawrence, Sr. and Jane (nee Henderson) Leeke.

He was a retired electrician and proud member of IBEW #134. He also enjoyed playing golf, bowling, fishing and pinochle.

Lawrence will be deeply missed by his dear children, Dawn (Kevin) Denna, Michael Leeke, Larry (Eileen) Leeke and Lisa (Dan) Kearns; his granddaughter, Rosalie Masi; his siblings, Marion (Chuck) Schwake, Thelma Nelson, Dorothy Brissette, Thomas (Lois) Leeke, James (Sally) Leeke and Lorrain (Douglas) Damrow.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sandra (nee Felix) Leeke and his parents.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 19 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and resume on Friday from 8:30 a.m. until the 10 a.m. service at the K. K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd. Fox Lake. Interment will be at Cole Cemetery, Spring Grove.
