Laura E. Robinette, a resident of Fox Lake, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2011. She was born on February 15, 1956 in Chicago, to Kenneth and Davidia M. (nee Crescio) Allen.

She graduated from Lyons Township High School in 1974 in La Grange, IL and attended 2 years of elective classes in Glen Ellyn.
Laura was loved by people and liked to help in any way. Cooking was her forte in food service. She enjoyed cooking of all types. She enjoyed the beautiful elements of outside. She liked beaches, fishing and anything outdoors with people, family and friends and all that has been given to us.

Laura will be deeply missed by her first husband & High School Sweetheart, Michael I. Burton and their son Christopher M. Burton; her second husband Randall R. Robinette and their son Richard R. Robinette; and by her last love Timothy Trost; and by her niece Tammy M and nephew David R.

Laura was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Robert Anthony Robinette.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 25, 2011 from 5 until 9 PM at the K.K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Road, Fox Lake and again on Saturday from 8:30 AM until the time of prayers at 9:15 AM and then departing for the 10 AM funeral mass at St. Bede Catholic Church, 36455 N. Wilson Rd., Ingleside. Interment will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Evanston.
