Kim was born on October 24, 1981 and passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2013.

A forever student, she attended GCHS, CLC and SIU. Never one to do things part-way, she was a die-hard Cubs fan, never wavering Bears fan, staunch atheist, proud democrat and card carrying member of NORML. She was an activist for women's rights and a champion for the underdog. Most importantly, she was a very proud mother to two amazing sons and found herself cheering on baseball games and camping with the Cub Scouts.

She is survived by her two sons, Ian and Brady, her parents Patricia and Lawrence Walker, her step-parents, Felix Leo and Deb Walker, her sister Christine Wittwer, brother-in-law Scott and nephew Matteo, step-siblings Mindy Taylor and Rob Leo, Grandma Ruth Walker and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her beloved Grandma Jeanne.
