Kimberley "Kimmy" Michelle Schneider-Lowrey, age 38, of Round Lake, Illinois, passed away suddenly on August 8, 2024. Kimmy was born on October 8, 1985, in Fort Knox, Kentucky. She graduated from Grant High School in Fox Lake. Kimmy later earned a degree with honors from ITT Technical Institute in web design.

Kimmy was the loving mother of William Stuart Lowrey and Thomas Gabriel Lowrey; dear daughter of Kurt and Michelle Schneider; cherished sister of Nicole (Matt) Greif and Karl (Connie Jasinski) Schneider; beloved Aunt of Nola Greif and Connor Greif; and adored niece and cousin to many.

Kimmy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Alex and Clarice Schneider and William and Carol Petersen.

Family was the most important thing to Kimmy. Her heart was filled with love and adoration for her boys, William and Thomas. Kimmy was a devoted, kind and caring mother and will be deeply missed by her children. Kimmy's sudden passing has left a big hole in the hearts of many. Kimmy and her boys had been living with her parents for several years and their daily lives were completely intertwined. Kimmy, her boys, and her mom and dad loved spending time together.

Kimmy was the "baby" of the family and had an especially close relationship with her big sister Nikki and big brother Karl. Kimmy loved celebrating family birthdays and all the special holidays, especially Christmas and Halloween. Kimmy and Karl loved watching horror films together.

Visitation Saturday, August 24, 9 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12 p.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals & Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake. Burial will follow in Grant Cemetery, Ingleside.
