Kenneth Wolbing, a lifetime resident of Ingleside and Fox Lake, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2012. He was born on April 17, 1920 in Ingleside to Charles and Gertrude (nee Tonyan) Wolbing.
He was an avid wood worker and loved nature and all of its critters. He also enjoyed flying his airplane for many years.
Kenneth will be deeply missed by his loving son, Donald (Noel) Wolbing, his grandchildren Michael (Ryan) Wolbing and Erica (Christopher) Sutter, his greatgrandson Liam, his sister Bette Tipton and by his dear friends Rob Schiebel and Annabelle McKinley.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Wolbing, his parents and his sisters, Hazel Schlund and Laverne Jensen.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 23, 2012 from 10 AM until the 11 AM service at the K.K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Round Lake.
