Ken LaMargo, 68, of Fox Lake, formerly of Chicago, passed away Monday, September 25, 2017, at his home.

He was born September 8, 1949, in Chicago.  A veteran of Vietnam, he served in the United States Marine Corps from 1969-1970.

Survivors include his children, Kenny LaMargo and Brie LaMargo; and his cat, Alice.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carole, in 1991.

Visitation will be Friday, September 29, from 4 p.m. until the celebration of his life at 7 p.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ken's name may be made to the cancer-research or veteran-service organization of your choice.
