Kelly Marie Scharlow (nee Bettis), 57, a lifelong resident of Fox Lake/Ingleside, died Monday, April 13, 2020, at home.  She was born November 24, 1962, in Evanston, to Lee and Carol (nee Cork) Bettis.

Kelly was a 1980 graduate of Grant Community High School, who went on to work as an administrative assistant in Chicago.  Above all, she was a loving mom to her two daughters.

Survivors include her daughters, Kaitlyn and Taylor O'Keefe; parents, Lee and Carol Bettis; brothers, Kevin (Susan) and John (Lisa) Bettis; former husband, John O'Keefe; special friend, Dan Cooper; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.

Kelly was preceded in death by husband, Erich Scharlow, on May 31, 2017.
