Justine "Tena" O'Malley

Justine "Tena" O'Malley, a long time resident of McHenry, passed away on June 11, 2011. She was born on February 28, 1929 in Waukon, Iowa to James and Celia (nee Fitzgerald) O'Meara.
She was an enthusiastic member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Johnsburg since 1957, as well as a member of the Pistakee Highlands Women's Club.
Justine was an extraordinary person who lived an ordinary life. She was friend to many and was loved & respected by anyone who knew her. She inspired all who were lucky enough to know her.
Justine will be deeply missed by her loving children, Michael (Jan) O'Malley of Lake Villa; Jeffrey (Donna) O'Malley of McHenry; James O'Malley of McHenry; Paul (Paula) O'Malley of West Virginia; Joseph (Kelly) O'Malley of Northville, MI; Ellen O'Malley of MI and Mary (Bob) Malchow of Johnsburg; by her dear grandchildren Cara (Roger), Devin, Jillian, Gina, Erin, Tara, Patrick, Carrie, Megan, Danny, Sean, Katie, Jake, Ryan, David, Maddie and Meara; and by her great grandchildren Ella, Brendan, Lynea and Makenna.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert O'Malley, with whom she was united in marriage on March 12, 1952, and also, by her parents, brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 17, from 9:30 AM until the 10:30 AM Mass at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2302 W. Church St., Johnsburg, IL. Interment will directly follow in the church cemetery.
