Joyce P. Hill Joyce P. Hill (nee Rushmore), 69. "After a short struggle with pulmonary fibrosis, our mother passed away peacefully at Condell Hospital in Libertyville. with her family by her side on Friday, Aug. 28, 2009." She was born on June 25, 1940, in her grandmother's home, later to become her home where she raised her five children. She continued to live in the Lake County area throughout the rest of her life. Joyce made friends where ever she went and touched so many people throughout her life. Many of her friends had the great chance to say goodbye to her at the hospital which she counted as a blessing. She will be remembered by her children as a wonderful mother. She is survived by her children, George W., Jamie L. (James) Mc Donald, John W., Graham A. and Joel D. (Ann Marie). She was so very proud of her grandchildren, Jenifer, Heather, Bridget, Ryan, Mark, Hannah, Nicolas and Zachary. She was overjoyed by her first great-grandson, Porter; and by her faithful companion of 10 years, "Buttons." She leaves behind her brother, James (Karen) Prickett; and her dearest cousin, Joyce Parks, whom she considered more like a sister. She so enjoyed and was proud of her nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by many. She was preceded in death by her sister, Beverly Rushmore. Friends may visit with her family on Wednesday, Sept. 2, beginning at 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the K.K.
