Joseph J. Gunnell

Joseph J. Gunnell, 72, a long time resident of Ingleside and Fox Lake, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2014. He was born on June 30, 1942 in Chicago to Francis and Mary (nee Maloney) Gunnell. Joseph was a member of the Grant Historical Society, the Republican's Club and also worked with the Fox Lake Volunteer Fire Department.

Joseph will be deeply missed by his loving son, Joseph F. Gunnell and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by his sister Anna Marie Raye.

Visitation will be held, Thursday, January 1, from 3 -7 PM at K.K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake. Committal Service and interment will take place Friday, January 2 at 11 AM at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1400 S. Wolf Rd., Hillside. All are invited to go directly to the cemetery.
