John Ray "Jack" Wingren
In loving memory of John Ray Wingren. Forever in our hearts and loving memory, through the circle of life we will always hold you dear.
He served in the U.S . Coast Guard and was a member of the American Legion, Post 703 in Fox Lake for over 30 years. In 1991, he retired from Clark Lift, Chicago North as parts manager.
John will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Maxine Mary Fesanco Wingren; his dear children Linda Lou (Joe) Nehnevaj, Kathleen (Milton) Scherer, John Charles (Pamela) Wingren, Joyce Ann (Brian) Philips, Scot Earl (Abby) Wingren, Jill (Todd) Uzzardo, Dianne (Joe) Evert, Donna (Bill) Sternberg and Sue (Dave) Finley; his 24 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; his sisters Nancy Boyce and Kay Gace and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his previous wife, Margaret Ann, his loving son James Daniel Wingren, his loving grandsons Ryan Wingren and Phillip Cabarrubias, his father Earl Fox Wingren, his mother and step-father, Violet Nast and Thomas Walter McCann, his siblings, James Wingren and Arlene Hilton.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 17, 2012, from 5 PM until 9 PM, and resume on Wednesday from 8:30 AM until the time of prayers at 9:10 AM at the K. K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake. Funeral mass will be Wed. 10 AM, at St. Bede Catholic Church, 36544 N. Wilson Rd., Ingleside. Interment will be at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville.
Memorials in John's name to, American Lung Association in Illinois - Greater Chicago, 55 West Wacker Drive, Suite 800, Chicago, IL, 60601, would be appreciated.
