John J. Palinski, Sr., 75, of Round Lake Beach, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2015.  He was born August 28, 1939, to the late Stanley and Leola (nee Fairgrieve) Palinski.

John worked in the carpentry industry for almost 50 years.  He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.  His family was foremost in his life and always came first.  For the past 15 years, he had donated to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to help cure pediatric cancer and assist pediatric cancer patients.

John is survived by his children, John (Evon) Palinski, Jr., Teressa (Megan Tawater) Palinski, Marissa Palinski, and Ransom (Barbara, nee Williams) Palinski; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Stanley "Denny" (Bea) Palinski; and many extended family members, grandchildren and one great grandchild.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Georgianne (nee Rzechula) Palinski in 2012; and sister, Clara Lee Schwager.

Per John's request, all services will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Marissa Palinski, for the benefit of the family, 1603 Vine St., Round Lake Beach, IL 60073.
