Jake Mosansky, 27, of Round Lake, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 12, 2016, in Ingleside.

He was born October 31, 1988, in McHenry, to John C. and Darlene E. (nee Kobuch) Mosansky.

Jake loved musky fishing, being outdoors, sitting by his fire, walking his beloved dog, Chad, and showing off his pet alligator, Porkchop.

He is survived by his loving parents, Darlene and John Mosansky of Round Lake; sister, Veronica (Tyler) Steif of Round Lake; nephew, Tyler "Stan"; grandma, Dorothy Browne of Gainesville, AL; and all of his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The memorial visitation will be 3-9 p.m., Thursday, March 17, 2016, at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake.

The Mass to celebrate Jake's life will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, March 18, 2016, at St. Bede Catholic Church, 36455 N. Wilson Rd., Ingleside.  The inurnment will be private.

A memorial fund in Jake's name will be established to support his favorite charity.
