John Henry Craver, 77, of Spring Grove, at rest Sunday, February 7, 2021.

Beloved husband of the late Margaret "Peggy" (nee Klein); loving dad and best friend of Kevin Craver; dear son of the late John Henry and Rhea Craver, Sr.; brother of Bill (Julie) and the late Bob Craver; uncle of Robby, Donna, Lenny, Eric, Melissa, and Billy; and loved friend of many (especially the Meier family).

A State Farm agent for 50 years, John had an agency in Wood Dale.  He was a kind, big-hearted man and loving caretaker who, if able, would give the shirt off his back, feed the world, or help anyone in need.  John was especially known to be a family man, who also cherished his friends and clients.  He enjoyed watching sports, movies, and TV, and going out to breakfast and dinners with family and friends.  John was a collector of watches, fine writing instruments, and cologne.

A private service will be held for the family and close friends.  Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Johnsburg.
