Joanne V. Rihacek (nee Kostelancik), 58, of Fox Lake, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018, at Centegra Hospital, McHenry.

Born December 13, 1959, in Chicago, to the late Steve and Annie (nee Skrentny) Kostelancik, she married Jim Rihacek on March 20, 1982.

Joanne loved to camp, making many trips around the country with her beloved family and friends.  She was a lifelong and avid fan of the Bee Gees.  Joanne worked at Baxter Shire as a supervisor and inspector.  Above all, she loved spending time with her family and friends—especially her sons.

Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Jim; sons Steve (Heather) and John Rihacek both of Round Lake Heights; cousin, Peter (Barb) Mauzer and their children Amanda and Andrea; sister-in-law, Beth Rihacek; nieces, Danyel and Rachel; and grandnieces, Kyrie and Harley.

In addition to her parents, Joanne was preceded in death by her brother, Val Kostelancik.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 8, from 4-8 p.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake.  There will also be visitation Monday, April 9, from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11 a.m., at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 7201 Archer Rd., Justice, at 2:30 p.m.
