Jeanette Schindler

Jeanette Schindler, a long time resident of the Fox Lake & Ingleside areas, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2014 with her loving family by her side. She was born on July 13, 1937 in Lake Forest to Anthony and Jennie (nee Molinare) Adams.

Jeanette was always on the go and greatly enjoyed participating in many senior activities. She was especially proud to be a member of The Red Hat Society, Copy Cats and The Primetimers. She also loved to travel, go on cruises and create picture collages. She was united in marriage on July 15, 1957 to Lee Schindler; they celebrated 49 years of marriage until his death in 2007.

Jeanette will be deeply missed by her dear children, Mark (Myrna) Schindler of Fox Lake; Deborah (Steve Davis) Schindler of Morton Grove; Elizabeth Schindler of Round Lake and Chris (Karen) Schindler of Batavia; her grandchildren, Misty (Nathaniel) Hoglund, Kandi Schindler, Jeramie (Thomas) Stahl, Jerome Juquiton, Mary, Jenna, Zachary (Jaqui) and Aimee Schindler; great-grandchildren, Vivian, Isaac, Chevy and Mason; and by her sister, Virginia Love of CA. Many loving cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Schindler, granddaughter, Heather, great-grandson, William and by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24 from 4 until 8 PM at K.K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake, IL. Funeral Mass will be Friday, 10 AM at St. Bede Catholic Church, 36455 N. Wilson Rd., Ingleside. All are invited to go directly to the church. Entombment to follow at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
