a Spring Grove resident for 16 years, formerly of Fox Lake Hills in Lake Villa, passed away Monday, October 25.
She was born on October 11, 1941 in Radisson, WI to Tilman and Harriet (nee Vaugan) Solberg.
Janet was a member of Lutheran Church of All Saints and had a career at Second Federal Savings and Loan. She also enjoyed reading, being with her grandchildren, dancing, spending time with her family, cooking and canning and also traveling with her husband.
She will be dearly missed by her husband and soul-mate, Carl Marucha, who she was united to in marriage on August 19, 1962; her children: Brad (Tricia) Marucha of Mesa, AZ; Brenda Marucha of Maricopa, AZ; Sandy "Bun" DiNatale of Antioch;Shari Melton of McHenry; her grandchildren: Patrick, Sean, Shannon, Alexis, Anthony, Andrew, Jordan and Kyle and by her sister Doris Mansky of WI.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 17 brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010 from 5 PM until 9 PM at K.K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd, Fox Lake.
Funeral service will be Friday, Oct. 29, 2010 at 10 AM at K.K. Hamsher Funeral Home with Pastor Nathan Anderson officiating.
