Janet A. Forster

Janet A. Forster, 66, a lifelong resident of Fox Lake, passed away on November 16, 2014. She was born April 8, 1948 in Chicago to John and Margaret (nee McNichols) McGovern.

Janet had a passion for learning and reading. She completed her college education at College of Lake County and became a librarian in the public school system. Janet was also a member of the Lions Club and the American Legion Auxiliary Post 703 in Fox Lake. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren most of all.

Janet is survived by her loving husband Harold; her children, James LaFleur and Jenette (Robin) Kellogg; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, David A. LaFleur and by her parents.

Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 22, from 9 – until the 11 AM funeral service at K. K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd. in Fox Lake. Interment will be at Windridge Cemetery, Cary.
