Jamie Lynn Chavez (Patterson) of Antioch, Illinois passed away January 10th, 2022. She was born in Waukegan to John A Patterson Jr. and April Lynn Desoto on October 1st, 1989. Jamie enjoyed kayaking, bike rides, swimming, and spending time with her dogs, friends, and family. Jamie is remembered by her husband Roberto Chavez, his parents Juanita and Roberto Chavez and the Chavez family, her younger siblings Anton Lutz and Tehya, Alana, and Makaylee Martin, nephews Jayden and Jeremiah Smith, Cousins Jason, Kevin, Leo, Dan, Calvin, Christy,  Tammy, Luke, Tiffany, Patrick, and Julie, Uncle James and his wife Jill Patterson, Uncle Jason Patterson, Uncle Pat Patterson, Aunt Karla Patterson, Aunt Tina Plonka, step father Shamus and his wife Crystal Martin, and many close friends in Illinois and Vermont. Jamie was predeceased by her father John Patterson Jr., mother April Desoto, grandmother Sandra "Sandy" Mckeone, grandfather John "Bud" Patterson, great-grandfather John Heber Jr., great-uncle Robert Ratliff, and great-aunt Jerra Lester. Jamie lives on through her love of nature, animals, Harry Potter, 80's and 90's culture, and her signature laugh, that was always funnier than the joke.
