James Thillen 76

A resident of Huntley, formerly a long time resident of Fox Lake, died at home Tuesday, July 13, 2010. He was born February 20, 1934 in Evanston, IL.
Jim owned ELBT Construction for 35 years. He was a Fox Lake village trustee for 8 years and served the community in many facets on various committees. He loved to garden.
Jim is survived by his loving wife Denyse(nee Maier) Thillen; his dear children Misty (Mike) Witt, Peggy (Richard) Torres, Jim (Susan) Thillen, Dorothy (Frank) Collings, Linda Thillen, Johnny Thillen, & Joseph (Karen) Bruno; his siblings Joe Thillen, Dave (Elaine) Thillen, Donnis Thillen, his 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; and many loving relatives and friends. Jim was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Virginia Thillen.
Memorial services will be held August 14, 2010 from 12-3 pm @ Volunteer Fire Department Bingo Hall, 114 Washington Ave., Fox Lake, IL 60020.
