James "Jimmy" Patrick McKinley, age 47
A resident of Fox Lake passed away Saturday, July 11, 2009 following a tragic accident.
He was born on July 1, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois. He had attended and graduated from Antioch High School and then earned his Electronics Degree from Devry Instititute of Technology.
He was employed at Scot Forge Co. in Spring Grove beginning his career in 1981 at the age of 19. He was a Machine Repair Supervisor and excelled at troubleshooting the machine tools throughout the plant.
Jimmy enjoyed boating, snowmobiling and took great pride in caring for his home.
He is survived by his daughter, Megan whom he wanted nothing more for than to see her succeed and be happy;
His mother and father: James and Sharon McKinley of Cape Coral, FL;
His brother: Scott (Jennifer) Reedsburg, WI;
His sister: Becky (Bill) Monroe of Woodstock;
His grandmother: Annabelle McKinley of Fox Lake;
And by Four nieces and Four nephews and by his dear friend: Cari Doose.

A Memorial Gathering to celebrate his life will be held from 11:00 A.M. - 12:30 PM on Friday, July 17, 2009 at K. K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd, Fox Lake (in the Chapel on the Lake) where friends and relatives may share their memories of Jim at 12 Noon.
For those who wish, memorials for a general scholarship fund at Devry Institute of Technology, 3300 N. Campbell Ave, Chicago, IL 60618 will be appreciated.
