James S. Kozik

James S. Kozik, a resident of Round Lake Beach, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2014. He was born on August 23, 1948 in Waukegan to Stanley, Jr. and Helen (nee Drozd) Kozik.

Jim worked for the Illinois Toll Highway Authority- M4, and was a member of Teamsters Local 700. He retired in 2001; following retirement he worked for Jones-Durham Transportation, where he was known as "Mr. Jim" to all the big and little kiddies. Jim enjoyed fishing the Wisconsin River and on Island Lake in Boulder Junction, WI, was an avid golfer, loved animals and was a Sox fan.

Jim will be deeply missed by his loving sisters, Bernadette (the late Charles) Gellhausen of Warrenton, MO and Dolores (the late Edward) Kessell of Chicago; his nephew, Kevin (Sharon) Gellhausen of Warrenton, MO; niece, Elizabeth (Nick) Iaconetti of Manchester, MO; his great nephew and niece, Andrew and Andrea Gellhausen of Warrenton, MO; his uncle Chester Drozd of North Chicago, his aunt Marguerite Drozd of Fox Lake; his cousins, Timothy (Tracy) Tomkovich of Riverwoods; Edward Tomkovich of North Chicago; Michael Drozd of Fox Lake; Joseph (Cindy) Drozd of Elgin; John (Sheila) Drozd of Fox Lake; Gail Grabinski of Chicago; Cheryl Magana of Anthony, FL and Michelle (Willie) Moeller of Henderson, NV

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 10 A.M. at Prince of Peace Church, 135 S. Milwaukee Ave., Lake Villa, IL 60046.

Interment private.
