Jack F. General, 85, of McHenry, unexpectedly passed away Saturday, June 4, 2016, at his home.

He was born July 26, 1930, in Chicago, to the late Joseph and Helen (nee Tamillo) General.

Survivors include his daughters, Christine Gier and Jodi (John Cencula) General; grandchildren, Jeffrey and Nicholas Gier, Sydnee Heipp, Crystal (Nathan) Wiese, and Kayla Cencula; and great-granddaughter, Natalie Wiese.

The memorial visitation will be Saturday, June 11, from 9 a.m. until the celebration of his life at 11 a.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake.  Inurnment will be private.
