Jack Byrum Flory

Jack Byrum Flory, longtime resident of Gurnee, passed away peacefully Sunday morning surrounded by his loving family, in his daughter's home. He was born March 4, 1935 in Waukegan to Richard and Wilma (nee Cross) Flory.

Jack loved sports, gardening, and the stock market. He and Diane greatly enjoyed going on cruises and spending time in their home away from home in Florida.

Jack will be deeply missed by Diane (nee Kendra) Flory; his daughters, Candace (Enrique Perez) Flory and Kimberly (Michael) Carpenter; his grandchildren, Trinity Rose, Autumn Dawn, and Corwin Lee Wallace; and by his sister, Joan (the late Don) Scheribel.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 18, from 4 until 8 P.M. and resume Friday, from 9:30 until the 11 AM funeral service at K.K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake. Interment at Millburn Cemetery in Old Mill Creek.
