Irene Kuznicki
Irene Kuznicki (nee Suchy), age 89, a longtime resident of Ingleside, IL, formerly of Chicago, died Sunday, January 18, 2009 in Lake Zurich, IL. She was born on March 1, 1919 in Czechoslovakia to John and Rosalia (nee Foltan) Suchy and was united in marriage to Hilliard J. Kuznicki on June 15, 1940 in Chicago, at St. Benedicts Catholic Church. She was a former member of St. Bede Catholic church in Ingleside, IL and most recently had attended St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Johnsburg. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, knitting, crocheting, ceramics and spending time with her family and friends.

She will be greatly missed by her children, Gerald (Linda) Kuznicki of McHenry, IL, Eileen (Bill) Creamer of Florida, Carolyn Winiarski of Island Lake, IL, and Kenneth (Irene) Kuznicki of Tucson, AZ; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and her sister, Helen Conklin of Chicago, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hilliard on January 24, 1994; son-in-law, James Winiarski on August 29, 1983; three sisters, Mary Potucek, Emily Sabath and Anna Hajduk.

Visitations will be on Thursday, January 22, 2009 from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. at the K.K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 North Pistakee Lk. Rd., Fox Lake, IL 60020 (The Chapel On the Lake- one block west of Route 12- half block north of Grand Ave.) www.kkhamsherfuneralhome.com . Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at St. John The Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Johnsburg, IL.
