Irene I. Warner (nee Kratunis), 71, of Spring Grove, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 30, 2017, in her home.

She was born November 20, 1946, in Chicago, to the late Alan and Lorraine (nee Hunt) Kratunis.  Irene married the late William "Bill" J. Warner on July 20, 1980.

Irene was known for loving life, giving to her family and friends, smiling, and always being on-the-go.  Her greatest passion has been her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughters, Tammy (Scott) Meyer and Sandy (Russ) Boelkow; step daughters, Ramona (Craig) Peasley, Pauline (Bob Trappe) Hill, and Marie (Pete) Patterson; grandchildren, Brad and Taylor Boelkow, Nicholas, Casey, and Jared Meyer, and many other grandchildren and great-grandchilden; former daughter-in-law, Jodi Knoll; and brothers, James (Kay) and Alan (Leisa) Kratunis.

In addition to her husband and parents, Irene was preceded in death by brother, Jerry Kratunis.

The visitation will be Monday, December 4, from 4-8 p.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake.

The funeral will be Tuesday, December 5, at 10 a.m., at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Cedarvale Cemetery, Spring Grove.
