Ian J. Wilson, 37, passed away unexpectedly Friday, July 13, 2018, in Antioch. He was born August 18, 1980, in Waukegan.

Ian was the owner and operator of Wilson Automotive in Fox Lake.

He is survived by his two sons, Christian Wilson and Nicholas Wilson; mother, Susan Wilson; father, James Mackey; maternal grandfather, Flavio (Jean) Gomez; step-paternal grandmother, Phyllis Keun; sister, Jessica Mackey; brother, Clark Mackey; aunts, Margaret (Logan) Belton and Sandra Mackey; uncle, John Gomez; and many cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Patricia Cherrie; and aunts, Linda Clayton and Marcella Hale.

Visitation  Wednesday, July 18, 2018, from 4-8 p.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Road, Fox Lake. Funeral services Thursday, July 19, 2018, at 11 a.m. with visitation starting at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Millburn Cemetery, Old Mill Creek.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ian's memory for his two sons, in care of his mother, Susan Wilson.
