Honey Jesse, a resident of Fox Lake, formerly of California, Arizona, Hawaii and Kuwait, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2013. She was born on December 5, 1934 in Buffalo, New York to Alvin and Irene (nee O'Donnell) Crane.
Honey was a devoted military wife and mother, often taking in single servicemen and make them a part of our family. She spent many years volunteering at schools, nursing homes, hospitals and churches, including marriage encounters, Cursillos and Bible study. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and loved sewing, gardening, doing ceramics, crocheting, quilting and crafts in general.
Honey will be deeply missed by her dear husband of 58 years, Clyde Jesse with whom she was united in marriage on May 28, 1955 in El Toro, CA; her children, Mark (Tammy Krueger) Jesse, Kim (Richard) Rundhaug, Matthew (Sandy) Jesse and Tamara (Richard) Lundgren; her 11 grandchildren; 9 great- grandchildren; her sister Nancy Crane and brother-in-law, Philip Kane. Many dear friends and relatives also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Patricia Kane.
Services and interment will be private.
