Henry M. Retek, Sr., 78, of McHenry, passed away Monday, November 21, 2016, at his home.

He was born October 12, 1938, in Chicago, to the late Frank and Amelia (nee Trent).

Henry was a plumber who enjoyed fishing, boating, tennis, pool, being on the water, and spending time at the cabin he built in Crystal Falls, MI and his house on Longboat Key, FL.

Survivors include his children, Mike (Sue) Retek Jr., Joe (Debi) Retek Sr., Toni (Roy Sr.) Feltson; grandchildren, Jeremy (Katie) Retek Sr., Kyle (Vanessa) Retek, Joseph Retek Jr., Samantha (Nick) Beers, and Destinee Feltson; great-grandchildren, Alexandra and Jeremy Retek Jr., and Emma Roy Feltson; companion, Diana Bauman; former spouse, Marisa Retek; and former spouse and mother of his children, Sally Retek.

In addition to his parents, Henry was preceded in death by his grandson, Roy Feltson Jr.

The memorial visitation will be Saturday, November 26, from 9 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11 a.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Henry's name may be made to the hospice of your choice.
