Henry J. "Red" Halverson's Obituary

Henry J. Halverson, a resident of Fox Lake, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2012. He was born on August 31, 1940 in Chicago to Henry J. and Marie Halverson.
He was a loving family man who greatly enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing and boating. He belonged to the local 130 Plumbers Union for over 50 years.
Henry will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Karen Halverson; his children Michael J. Halverson, Henry J. (Rita) Halverson, III and Loria (Shawn) Mortimer; his grandchildren Henry J. Halverson, IV, Christian M. Halverson and Lylah G. Mortimer; his sisters Mary Ann Polcyn, Jane (the late Les) Lindquist and Sally (Earl) Schwarzkoph. Many dear nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be at the K. K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake Sunday, Sept. 30, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and resume on Mon., Oct. 1 from 8:30 am until the time of prayers at 9:10 am and then departing for the 10 am Funeral Mass at St. Bede Catholic Church, 36455 N Wilson Rd. in Ingleside. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove. Please meet at the cemetery by 12:30 pm.
