Helen C. Weirich

of Fox Lake

Helen C. Weirich, 90, passed away peacefully Friday, Dec. 15 2010, surrounded by her family. Helen was born November 21, 1919, in Chicago, to John and Norma (Martin) Gutenkauf. She was a 30 year resident of Fox Lake. As a homemaker, she was the center point of her home and family.

She will be deeply missed by her, two daughters, Kathleen VanElla of Lake Forest and Fox Lake; Marianne (Charles)Keucker of Beloit; her son Roger (Donna) Weirich of Palatine; her sister Lorayne Weirich; her five grandchildren: Aleen, Erica, Christopher, Kathryn, and Cynthia; by her five great grandchildren Luke, Nicholas, Ava, Ivy, and Wade; and by many other dear relatives and friends.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Wallace Weirich; and a brother, John Gutenkauf.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday January 19 at K.K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Road, Fox Lake.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday January 20, at St. Peter's Church in Spring Grove.
