Harriet Lipski's Obituary

Harriet Lipski, of Antioch, former longtime resident of Fox Lake and Lake Villa, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2012. She was born on September 19, 1914 in Chicago, to Peter and Amelia "Emily" (nee Merkwa) Koziara.
She was employed with Heppner Manufacturing Co. in Round Lake. She was also employed with her son and daughter-in-law's family business, The Lindenhurst Laundromat, where she worked in customer service for several years.
She loved to cook, bake, feed birds and spend time with her family.
Harriet will be deeply missed by her loving son, Kenneth (Beatrice) Lipski of Antioch and by her grandchildren, Scott (Marissa) Lipski of Chicago and Michelle Lipski of Antioch, who were the "lights of her life."
She was preceded in death by her dear husband Edward Lipski, with whom she was united in marriage on June 4, 1932, her parents and her brother, Edward Koziara. Harriet was also fortunate to have her 2 nephews, Edward and Howard Koziara. Her devoted grand-niece, Kathy Devine held a special place in her heart as well.
Chapel service and interment will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at St. Adalbert's Catholic Cemetery in Niles. Please meet at the cemetery office.
