Glen R. Knack, a life time resident of Ingleside, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 17, 1951, in Chicago to Frank and Elberta (nee Krefft) Knack.
He was an Indian Motorcycle enthusiast and loved to spend time with his family. He was a devoted husband, dad and papa.
Glen will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Patricia "Patty" (nee Tonyan) with whom he united in marriage on April 21, 1973 at St. Bede Catholic Church in Ingleside; his dear children, Nikki (Byron) Cogswell of Ingleside and Carrie (Jeff) Miller of Ringwood; his grandchildren, Alexandria, Hunter and Jaxon; his mother and by his sisters Cindy, Linda, Patti and Judi. Many other loving relatives and friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 2 PM until the 6:30 PM funeral service at K.K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake, IL 60020. Interment will be private.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorials in Glen's name be made to Fox Lake Volunteer Fire Dept. P.O. Box 26, Fox Lake, IL 60020.
