George J. Yeaton, 78, of McHenry, Il.  George passed away unexpectedly February 2, 2023.  He was born July 22, 1944 in Woonsocket, Rhode Island to Roger and Rose Yeaton.

He was the beloved husband of Nancy (nee Miller) for 52 years, cherished father of Heather (Jason) Folbrick and Erin (Jason) Napolitano, loving grandfather of Max and Olivia Folbrick and Luca and Milo Napolitano.  Dear brother of Cynthia (Robert) Bowen, brother-in-law of Georgette and John Miller.  Uncle of caring niece and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother.

George was a gregarious soul who could talk to anyone, always ready with a story.  He was a note taker and seeker of information, and he had a vast and varied knowledge of many things.  He won numerous awards in his career as a Sales Representative in Electronics Manufacturing and felt great pride in his six years of service in the United States Navy.  He could drive or navigate almost anywhere and was the family GPS ("George" Positioning System).  He loved having an adventure driving the backroads of America with his wife, Nancy, fishing with friends, golfing, and above all, spending time with his family.  He had a special relationship with his daughters, Heather and Erin, and any time spent with his grandchildren was precious to him.  George will be missed by all who knew him.
