George V. Giannakakis, 73 passed away suddenly, February 03, 2023. He was born July 11, 1949 in Kokla, Greece to the late Vasilios and Panagoula Giannakakis. George was married to the "love of his life" Fotini "Fay" (nee Koutsopodiotis) for 52 years. He was an endearing father of Patty (Nick) Stianos, Demetra Giannakakis and Maria (Thomas) Earth, cherished grandfather "Pappou" of Jennifer (Chris), Yianni, Georgia, Fotini, Tasos, Anastasia, Gabriella, Fotoula, Alexandra and Claudia. Dearest brother of Fotoula (Christos) Pavlis, Chrisoula ( Dino) Frigelis, Nikolaos (Maria), Manolis and Kostantinos (Vasiliki). Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Brother-in-law of Maria, Ted (Kathy) and Xeni. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vasilios and Panagoula, Anastasia Giannakakis, Odusseas Koutsopodiotis, Anastasios Gianakouli, Anastasios and Demetra Koustopoditis.
