Frederick Charles Dahmer, 74, of Lake Villa, Illinois and Fort Myers Beach, Florida, passed away July 8, 2017.  He was the loving husband of Sharon (nee Hansen); father of Michelle (Christian); loving grandfather of Miya; brother of Darlene (Brant) Hayes, Dawn (Rick) Fry, and Ronald (Lisa) Dahmer; uncle to many nieces and nephews. Fred was a retired member of SMW Local #73, had an infectious laugh, and was a stand up guy. A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 10:00 a.m.until the time of the memorial service at 1 p.m., at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to One Simple Wish or American Cancer Society.
