Frank E. Rutkowski

Frank E. Rutkowski, a resident of Fox Lake, passed away on May 5, 2011. He was born on March 28, 1927 in Chicago to Frank and Helen (nee Kostro) Rutkowski.
He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Johnsburg, where he served as an administrator to the sick. He was a member of Knights of Columbus and the VFW. Frank was also a member of the 1945 Chicago Cubs Minor League. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed dancing, playing cards, and shuffleboard.
Frank will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Dolores "Dorie" (Koziol) Rutkowski, to whom he was united in marriage on September 24, 1949; his dear children, Diane (Jerry) Ditter, James Rutkowski, Wendy Varygiannes, Russ Rutkowski, David Rutkowski and Ron Rutkowski; his grandchildren Carrie Pihl, Amy (Bob) Notter, Lori Burns, Johnny & Demi Varygiannes, Michael & Courtney Rutkowski and Jessica Rutkowski; by his great-grandchildren Tyler Burns, Jake & Clare Notter and Cameron Pihl; and by his sister Irene Riley.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
