Frances Ambolo (nee Vinco), 92, of Fox Lake, peacefully passed away Thursday, March 26, 2026, at home.  She was born January 20, 1934, in Marsala, Sicily, to the late Antonio and Paola (nee Cacioppo) Vinco.

Survivors include her children, Vida (the late Danny) Lamb and Vincent Ambolo both of Fox Lake; brother, Antonino (Francesca) Vinco; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Ambolo on March 24, 2006; and siblings, Francesco Vinco, Anna Ampola, Vincenza Vinco, Guiseppe Vinco, and Gaetano (Rosa) Vinco.

Burial will be private in Grant Cemetery, Ingleside.
