Florence L. Krieling Griswold, 85, of Lehigh Acres, Florida, died Tuesday, August 16, 2022, in Florida. She lived in Florida for the past 60-plus years and formerly lived in Fox Lake.

Florence was born November 21, 1936, to William Kreiling and Florence Kessell Kreiling.  She grew up in Fox Lake and attended Fox Lake Grade School and Grant High School--graduating in 1954.

She had three siblings, Marguerite, Bill, and George, and was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Bill.  Florence is survived by sister, Marguerite Drozd of Fox Lake; brother, George Kreiling of Lehigh Acres; and many nieces and nephews, and cousins in the Fox Lake and Lehigh Acres areas.

Florence was a very PROUD AND PATRIOTIC AMERICAN.  She worked at Walmart in Lehigh Acres for many years.

Visitation Sunday, August 21, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake.  Private burial will be in Avon Centre Cemetery, Grayslake.
