Felicia "Phyllis" K. Sobie (nee Kazmierski), 90, of McHenry, formerly of Fox Lake, died Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at Alden Terrace, McHenry.  She was born May 19, 1928, in Chicago, to the late Feliks and Martha (nee Wysocki) Kazmierski.

Mrs. Sobie was an active member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church of Spring Grove, where she had been a eucharistic minister, member of the Christian Mother's Club, and various prayer groups.

Survivors include her nephew, Paul (Sylvia) Karz; niece, Lynda Karz; grandnieces, Eryka and Elizabeth Karz; grandnephew, Lucas Karz; cousin, Virginia (Tom) Stasiak; and sister-in-law, Geraldine Karz.

Mrs. Sobie was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph "Steve" Sobie on November 25, 1984; and brother, Richard J. Karz.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 19, from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass at 10 a.m., at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 2118 Main St., Spring Grove.  Burial will follow in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery, Spring Grove.
