Evelyn P. Shalek nee Kubitz age 92 of Ringwood formerly longtime resident of Ingleside passed away Oct. 13, 2010. Dear mother of James (Susan) Shalek Jr. and Scott (Kathy) Shalek, Ringwood. Grandmother, step-grandmother and great grandmother to many.
Preceded in death by her husband, James A. Shalek Sr., her sister and a brother.
Was known around Ringwood as the "Muffin Lady of Ringwood" for her homemade muffins which she delivered to the local post office, church, veterinarian and neighbors.
